When you say getting your designs smooth, do you mean it’s bumpy after you paint? If so, you might just need to add top coat until its smooth. Seche Vite is good for making your nails smooth as glass.
We use acrylic paint for our designs. It’s more opaque and easier to work with in my opinion. Hope that helps!
